We will board the Hull-Rotterdam overnight ferry, then travel on the next day to Tours which will be our base for the next 4 nights.
We plan to
-visit some fabulous chateaux and gardens
-enjoy the beautiful towns and villages along the Loire
-partake in a couple of wine tastings
-discover the medieval old town, local gastronomy and rich Renaissance heritage of Tours itself
-take in the poignant beauty of Monet’s Gardens at Giverny
Our homeward route is via the Calais-Dover ferry, spending a night at Chatham before heading home the next morning.
